Beginnings
In 1988, Partes y Complementos Plásticos PCP was founded in Sabaneta, Antioquia, with the objective of manufacturing, distributing, and selling products made from metal and plastic, with an initial capital of USD $5.263
Hose Nozzle
We prioritized the development and manufacturing of products for water use. We began manufacturing the hose nozzle mold.
Move to La Fragua Neighborhood
The main PCP facility was relocated for the second time to the La Fragua neighborhood in Bogotá
New Brand Image
PCP's new corporate image was introduced in 1999, along with the development of proprietary labels and packaging. This was also the year we began working with Proexport.
Launch of Heavy-Duty Valve
PCP celebrated the turn of the millennium with the launch of our 1⁄2” heavy-duty ball valve.
Start of Exports
In 2005, we moved to a new facility and began exporting to Costa Rica. By the end of the year, we had surpassed one million dollars in sales.
New Facility in Peru & Launch of Light Duty Ball Valve
Duty Ball Valve 2007 was a very special year for PCP with the opening of our own operations in Peru and the launch of the light duty ball valve.
SAP Implementation
A great milestone for PCP: in 2009, we invested in radio advertising and Colombian soccer sponsorships. We reached 52% exports and 48% domestic sales. SAP implementation was completed.
Home Depot Mexico
We began a comercial relationship with The Home Depot Mexico growing in the retail market
4” Check Valve Production
In 2012, we began manufacturing the 4” check valve, one of the most popular products in our catalog.
In-House PVC Production
We began
manufacturing our own
PVC compound, boosting
our raw materials production capacity.
Operations in Mexico & Launch of our Hose Bibb
In 2014, PCP achieved
one of its
major goals by
launching our own
warehouse in Mexico.
We also introduced
our hose bibb to the market.
NSF International Certification
In 2017, PCP obtained

30th Anniversary Celebration, New Image
In March 2018, we celebrated three decades of innovation, hard work, and achievements at PCP with the launch of a renewed brand image.
Launch of the 3" Ball Valve
We introduced a 3” ball valve, specifically designed to enhance our irrigation product line.
PCP Facility Relocation to Pereira
As part of our growth strategy and future vision, we moved operations to Pereira, tripling our production capacity. The new facility is more environmentally responsible and enhances our ability to serve customers both in Colombia and internationally.

PCP has taken root in the fertile lands of Pereira. From this new location, our leadership team is committed to driving regional development while continuing to deliver high- quality, reliable products. Our work also supports a more sustainable future by helping to reduce water waste.
